    Poem Commentary

Time is not a variable or factor.

    He's Mine

He reminded me of the beauty
How can I take his leave?
    a married man
    yet constant flirt
    I can only stand idle
while he does all the work
    and now
    he expects no memories
    a snap of his fingers
    and I'm gone
    wanting him to remember me
    Is it so wrong?
    when it is I, who
    should be remembering you
    instead.

Knew a man like this once. Hmm lesson learned at such a young age is they'll stray with her they'll stray with you. Great poem.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
