    Few Floors Down

If God sees me right now
I don’t know what he would say
    But all I know
This will be the last of my days

Before I end what I have today
There are things that I want to know
Was there such thing as you and me
And if there is, why did you go?

My tears fell down for many times
And I regret all those wasted days
If only I knew that, you’ll never be mine
And I wouldn’t waste any ways

And now I’m in the edge of decision
Whether to live or to die
One step can put to end my confusion
    Knowing no one will cry

I stepped forward and say goodbye
    Saw myself falling down
Now there’s no more turning back
'Coz it will be the end for a few floors down

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
