    Poem Commentary

    Some females still believe in their "Prince Charming" as the story is told. I get laryngitis ever other year or so, and often would get called froggy. This year after the first symptoms of a cold, I not only caught a cold, but lost my voice. I once again sounded like a "frog" and wrote this little poem, including my Prince Charming because I am a hopeless romantic, I guess. ;o). It's funny what losing my voice did to me. lol UPDATE: I regained my voice, but my Prince Charming I have not yet kissed..lol

    Frog...... NOT a Fairy Tale Story

     All I asked for was a Prince Charming, and I was stuck with a frog in my throat,

    Not the fairy tale ending that I would have wrote.

    Now Sneezy, and Grumpy are also my friends,

    Oh when, oh when will it ever end....

    My voice sounds funny, even to me.

    Yes, I've been drinking honey with hot tea.

    Although I can't talk, I can smile,

    My family better enjoy the quiet for this little while.

    As soon as I can talk, I'll be on the phone,

    To talk once again in my regular tone.....

    Aww this was so, Charming :) I too love hot tea with honey! Kudos. But this was a wonderful light hearted, humourous write. I would suggest adding a video to the poem page, Kermit's it aint easy being green Haha. In closing, I myself and a Hopeful Romantic! For I have found my one true love, actually in truth I did not find love, it found me when I was least expecting it. Seems that's the way it goes. So keep the hope alive, it will happen in good time.     Thanks Spence for the comments....Thanks for the suggestion. I appreciate it. Good to know romance is not dead! ;o) I'll keep the hope alive, as long as I'm breathing anything is possible. Hahaha Peace and Love .....;o)
