    Poem Commentary

    I wrote this when i was 18yrs old for my grandpa's funeral. i tried to write what i think my grandpa would have wanted to say if he had been able to. i hope i got it right.

    Gone

     I am gone but not far away,
    Yet still you cry and I cannot understand why.
    For the is no longer any pain.
    Because the Lord has sent an angel to carry me away.

    So dearest wife, please don't cry.
    My children, please be brave.
    For I shall still be with you,
    Each and every day.
