    my class collected teddy bears to send to New York directly after 9/11. I wrote and tied poems to mine but did not sign them. i wanted them to have a personal touch for who ever got them. i hope that in a small way they helped.

    Bright Future

    Many things have happened.
    Most not so good.
    But please don't feel bad,
    We in Oklahoma have been there to.
    Things may look very bleak,
    But I know your future will be bright.
    So we send our hopes and our wishes,
    To you during your darkest night.

    Icy Hands

    Things may feel very chilly,
    Like you've been slapped by an icy hand.
    So we've sent this teddy bear to you,
    To warm your heart and land

    Don't Worry

    Things may look very bleak,
    But never you worry.
    I've come here,
    In quite a hurry.
    I'll make you laugh,
    Instead of cry.
    You'll forget the bad things,
    And feel joy inside.
