    Poem Commentary

    No reason. Just came to me.

    Life is Short

     Ponder this as you walk away,
    Here and now could be your final day.
    How many words did you leave unsaid?
    Count the things you wish you did.

    Regrets fill all,
    Though many will deny,
    Saying " I've done all I could",
    But that is a lie.

    As breath leaves lungs,
    And heart skips a beat,
    In the mind's eye,
    They will see all the fullfillment they did not meet.

    So do what you can,
    Before it's to late.
    Tell loved ones you love them,
    For to soon we all meet Fate.

    Our time here is short.
    We do not live forever.
    We are all meant to die,
    So make every moment matter.

    This one really hit home right now... it made get emotional cause I'm going through some health issues n I've been wanting to write some letters for my kids n husband this christmas. I have been dreading to think negative but in back of my mind there's possibility of the worst happening. I think I truly need to let them know how much I love them for them never forget in case one day I might not be here.

    I am so sorry. You should definitely write those letters whether or not you are concerned about your health. That way they, should anything happen, they always have a piece of you. I hope everything turns out right for you and yours.
