Little One
Little one inside me,
You already own my heart.
I cannot wait for the day,
When I can hold you in my arms.
I can not feel you yet,
But I know the moment will come,
When your light flutters turn to powerful kicks,
And I'll know that you are strong.
Then the day will come,
And the waiting game will end.
Tears of joy will be shed,
And a new life will begin.
But take your time little one,
I know that you need to grow,
So your light may shine forever bright,
On this great big old world.
