    Poem Commentary

    To my 3yr. old twin sons, Kullen and Robert. I love you more than life its self. if someone told me I had to choose between breathing and loving you then I would use my last breath to tell you how much I love you both. But that doesn't mean your angels and that you don't sometimes fry my last nerve, lol. Mommy loves you both so much.

    The Good With The Bad

     They test my patience.
    They test my nerve.
    But they still mean more to me,
    Than the world.

    They mess with stuff,
    That is not theirs.
    But I would not trade them,
    For money or pearls.

    They are destructive and loud.
    They fight without end.
    But it is my privilege,
    To help shape them into men.

    So many times,
    I want to pull my hair out.
    But I love them so much,
    I try not to shout.

    I hope that they do not ever begrudge me,
    Because I did not always hold their hands.
    For one must learn that when you fall,
    You must stand back up and try again.

    Sweet poem we with children can relate to as parents and grandparents reminding us it is all about them.

    thank you. I have twin 3yr. old boys who love to test me but I love them more than anything.

    Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
