Hardly Know
This day just slips on by,
Wishing, I hope to save a goodbye,
Until I reach my destination,
This lonely way about me, makes,
So much that I hardly can,
Look past the mess that I am in,
See I hardly know,
What makes this life I know,
Hardly what it is today,
I wish and hope,
For a better day,
As this slips away!
In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
