    I Am, Soul!

    I slapped my arse,

    Turned around fast,

    Hoping my arse wasn’t grass

    I fell out of bed,

    After laying my head,

And thanked God I was not dead,

    I was real,

    I could feel,

Something within me knew the deal,

    Jumped off the ground,

    A force spun me around,

Then shot me out a tunnel,

    Booming, Sound!

    I found myself up high,

    Floating in a cloudless sky,

    I rose,

    I dove,

    I danced above,

With freedom, joy and so much love

    I am Soul,

    But, I’m in the world,

    'Tis my song, my refrain,

    Cause at night,

    My soul takes flight,

    On a spiritual train

I’ve learned to speak in spirit,

I’ve learned to talk in pictures,

    So I can communicate,

    With Angel, Man, and Creature.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
