    In the Midst

     In the midst of darkness
    reach  out for me
    I will take your hand
    I will be there to carry you
    to love and understand


    I can see your sorrow
    and feel your pain
    as I watch teardrops
    fall like rain

    lay your head upon my shoulder
    as I erase all doubt and fear
    leave with me your burdens
    and I will wipe  away  your tears


    I will reach out to you
    when you lose your way
    and always be beside you
    on your darkest day



    I will be the  light
    forever guiding you
    when darkness falls
    I am  the shadow in  the midst
    waiting for your call...

    I love this poem...reminds me of my poems...the reason i decided to read it was because i have a poem titled the same and i wanted to see what u were writing of in yours'. I am really glad I did..this poem is beautiful in its content and the meaning of ur words...the love of God is beautiful and He is wonderful that is for sure...so thank for sharing this!
