    When It's Over

You claimed that you were my friend

that you would be with me through thick or thin

little did I know that I was a pawn in your game

that you would stab me in the back

    the one with many names....

So now that you have hurt me

    I must let you go

For I no longer want to be your  friend or foe

It is now time for us to move on

    and never look back

I will no longer care for the heart that you lack

    You have deceived so many

I applaud you for your job well done

    They have all become Nieve

and do not see what you have become

So, with this I say I will forgive
     but I will not forget

For falling into your  web of  deceit

    I will always regret

So walk with your head high and continue

    hurting others in vain

and I shall hold my head low

    and hide from  my shame

My heart is still big and from this I will learn

to watch those like you closely

for you are sure to get burned !
