Lonely Thoughts
She walked along the ocean shorewith her hair flowing in the breeze
thinking of her yesterdays
and all of what could be.
wishing for love and peace
and things that warm the heart
never knowing when these things will end
or even when they will start.
she looked at her footprints in the sand
wishing there was a set of two
someone to carry her or guide her when,
her heart was feeling blue.
She sits to watch the sun set
in the deep blue colored sky
as memories unfold
of things she has left behind
and with each new tomorrow
she knows....
she will soon find peace of mind
and as she sits there
seeking answers for her heart
she asks..... will i always feel alone
and a voice replied ....
I have been with you from the start.
I carried you when you were weak
I walked beside you when you were strong.
I have been there to wipe your tears
I have been with you all along !
