    Poem Commentary

    Some language contradicts...on purpose

    "Normality"

     Normality

    It is quite clear that complete sanity is unattainable...this is my normality...


    Through the transference of poetic schemes
    I’m gripped by enigmatic things
    The wings across fantastic streams
    Lead to ravished imagined phantom fiends
    The tragedy is gathered clean
    This tattered matter scattered neat
    Comes clear...through all the shattered dreams…

    My psyche reaches out to me

    With vision clearly clouded both
    The shrouded clout what does it host
    With stain of squalor yet It boasts
    Reality’s meager pointed finger pokes
    Wheel’s motion, potion glints tween spokes
    Neath hocus pocus strands of focus broke
    Through twisted aim, blown mirrored smoke…

    My psyche reaches out to me

    Eagerness sets sail through mental’s anguish
    Hatred, pain, and anger speak cerebral language
    Maintained a frame serene and languid
    A famous feeling claims it shameless
    Intensely stain said immensely vivid drainage
    Carnage came then laid waste to saneness
    Through left and right brains insane acquainted…

    My psyche reaches out to me

    Think me mad about taints elixir
    Swinging jaunting about the fixtures
    To saint a sin repaint a scripture
    Psycho logic all makes stranger mixtures
    Fiction all real depicts the crispest pictures
    Pouring poorness to fore raises richer
    Through crown’s crack and vacant fissure…

    Oh a great and glorious ballad. I say, your verse "My psyche reaches out to me" rivals the verses of John Keats. This poem is of religious outpouring.

    ur poems are the best in this website and if anyone disagrees they really need to suggest their poems to me because im looking for the best in here and i think that i have found it....possibly because ur poems always flow together and have just a continous rhythm and the have meanings beyond the words that u write....these poems are truly magnificent...u got the gift man, and ur stretchin potential with it...its beautiful

    I am curious as to how this poem would read in another format. There are many interesting ideas in the write, that I think it might bring it out more in an expansive dialogue.

    you had me from the first line, for truer words for humanity at this time on the globe could not be spoke ... but favorite line is "To saint a sin repaint a scripture" lol ... so much madness we've inherited ... no wonder it can be tough to parse sanity and truth ... another great write, thx for posting!! :) -dh
