Reckless Behavior

Reckless Behavior

Beliieving in you
is like falling asleep at the wheel
(When the road is slick
and your brakes are bad)-
So reckless
fatal-
to my own well being-
and easy-
so easy.

I should do the responsible thing-
roll the windows down;
say goodbye-
but i keep nodding
between horn blasts
and eventually-
I rest my head
on the back of the seat-
Yawn-
and fall into believing.

WOW I must say that your poem sounds very deep. I thought you did a great job in wording it and you really put some feeling behind it.

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
