    Poem Commentary

    The first half was written when I did something that I wanted to apologize for. The second half was written after someone broke my heart

    The Truth
    I never meant to do this
    I never meant to make you cry
    I never meant to say those things
    You must know they are lies
    The truth is that I love you
    More than words can say
    The truth is that I need you
    More and more each day

    The truth is you don't love me
    You always meant to make me cry
    The truth is you don't need me
    I knew that they were lies
    You stole my heart
    And gave me dreams
    You stole my life
    And gave me death
    You stole everything
    And gave me tears

    Dear Rokinfire: You are indeed a poet. Your biography was very interesting and you have a very mature style for someone who's just 13. The curse of a writer. When I started writing novels at your age I showed a chapter to my parents who accused me of plagiarism. They should have known better as we are an entire family of writers, The meter was interesting because it changed abruptly from the first stanza but the emotions were very evident. good work.
