    You Are Safe Now

    My eyes are open
    for the first time
    in so long

    I finally see
    the life I’m supposed to have
    I finally see
    the love I’m supposed to receive

    And it’s you

    It’s always been you…

    My heart is racing
    for the first time
    in years

    I can finally love
    and I can finally feel
    and accept who I am
    and who I have become

    Because it lead me to you

    It had been leading me to you…

    And now as your head rest on my chest
    and now as you look into my eyes
    I can see
    I can feel

    That you’re safe
    here
    With me

    That you’re safe
    For once
    In your life

    And it’s with me

    It’s always been me…
