You lift me high till I'm soaring
Like an eagle above the storm
To a spirit of elation
An inexplicable elevation
That is totally not the norm
Not for me

I suddenly feel so free
Rejuvenated and more alive
Got my heart racing into overdrive
And all it takes is a word from you
How is it that you do what you do?
What power you possess
Such eloquence and finesse
I've fallen for you, I must confess

I'm flying, yet falling
I know the two contradict
But I haven't felt better
When facing conflict

A mysterious force has brought us together
It's what I've come to believe inside
We were being prepared for each other
And this time in our lives
A divine meeting of hearts
Reunion of bone and flesh
In this time and space
Our souls coalesce

When you and I connect so deep
The air breathes a peaceful sound
There's a joy you bring that's so profound
My feet barely touch the ground

In those special moments we share
