A Lesson Learned
Here i lie,
And forever i will remain,
Until i die,
And my bones wash away.
Because a broken heart doesn't heal over night,
And memories dont just disappear,
Everywhere i look you're in sight,
Which brings back nostalgic feelings.
And i remember,
Us walking down icy streets,
In the middle of november,
Where we shared our first kiss.
Those were the times that i looked forward to,
But now you are gone,
and now i know,
That some things are too good to be true.
I learned that things aren't always as they seem,
And don't let people close to your heart,
Because they will break your dreams,
And leave you to pick up the pieces
