Behind

  • today is the tomorrow we worried about yesterday

Behind

If a vessel is all you see in me than drink from me as you wish
If an equal is what you gaze up on then give to me as you must.
Spill your fears and  gape your soul
Crush me to your secret self and plunge into my openness
Let me learn of the full length and width of your passions
Stand erect and open to me
Give voice to you heart's mind
As we thrust forward not looking behind.
Past is for yesterday yet if you leave the past behind and only see me for behind our souls remain behind.
Future is powered with the dust of our past and in that dust is the compass to the tomorrow that drive us today.
Sprinkle me with the dust of your forever.
