Country Life
Sittin on the front porch watchin the day
The wife’s washin clothes while the children play
Lunch is a cookin havin pinto beans
Yep were as laid back as it seems
There’s not a mall here or a freeway
And we don’t lock up when we’re away
We don’t need all the Jones stuff
Here it don’t take much to have enough
Camping at the river on a Friday night
We ain’t got a worry n' everything’s all right
Cook what we catch n' have plenty to eat
Livin in the country yep it’s pretty neat
We don’t have cable but we gotta a TV
We get channel 10 and sometimes 3
No there ain’t much action in our small town
But we help each other when we get down.
If you’re tired of the City and you’ve had enough
Move out to the country and forget that stuff
That ain’t livin being in a rat race………….
Move out to the country for a slower pace
We just plant us a garden and watch it grow.
We have plenty of time cause life here’s slow.
We grow all kinds stuff to meet our needs.
We can up most and but we keep some seeds.
