No Cowboy
No Cowboy
Yea he’s a long and lean Texan in a ten-gallon hat
He’s got goat ropin boots on drives a big Cadillac
He’s got cow horns on the bonnet, as the English would say
And he whoops like a cowboy when he drives a way
He’s a modern-day wrangler but he don’t own a horse
He thinks he a cowboy which ain't true of course
It takes more than a horse to make up the man
I guess that’s just one thing he can’t understand
Yea he dances the two-step like nobody before
He’s got six women waitin and still wants some more
He’s got a definite problem and it’s easy to see
He just ain’t a cowboy bad as he wants to be
He’s got skoal in his pocket but he don’t even dip
And he never drinks whiskey cept an occasional sip
He ain’t never been huntin or camped out on the range
Some call him a cowboy......... but I call him strange
Cowgirls they all love him he’s the man of their dreams
Yea that cowboy wrangler in his starched denim jeans
He stroll into our bar and we all wish he would quit
Cause he smells like Polo instead of cow shit
