Daylight Moon

Poem Commentary

The Lunar Eclispe is dawning I await it eargerly to see the other side of somewhere, where my soul hide. I seek solice within the moon tides that wake and stir my inner psyche to reach for the stars.

Daylight Moon

In a clear blue sky

Day moonshines giving delight

Pleasure from the distant star

Moon speaks of a sister, a soul match

That has affinity for my needs

As though she were inside me

Being part of my cosmic life

Within the etheric star

Moon called my name so softly

I cannot ignore her loving heart

Reaching gently for me

Where is my sister

Is she hidden by blue twilight

Darkness stilled before my eyes

Still the vision was lovely and bright

Illumined by chance or innate revelation

Dreams of nights in hemispheric translation

As I glanced to the heavens in advance

It gave my equilibrium a chance to see

Was I in Spain on a plain?

Or creating the Pyramids of Giza Plateau

Before the fall of Rome

Through love of heartbreak

Alluring latent moon give me a sign

Of a need completely divine

Laughing moon I cry no more

Happiness is within your smile

Dancing moon I am filled with joy

Ecstasy twinkles in your eyes

Loving moon chill this flame

Your light, which shines, fills my heart

Daylight moon in the eastern realm

Show me the love that I have dreamt of

Nighttime moon in the western realm

Where is my sister, my soul match afar off?

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
