I Stand
Step into his domain
His gates sit upon a cloud
Embraced by my love he smiled
Upon my lowly life
This is his eternal bond
Given to me in kindness
For my right thoughts
On a clouds wings I soar
Calling on his love in prayer
With a happy smile in my heart
To live life as he did swear
How in my creators name
Did I become your favored one?
As many have come and gone
Never to say they felt
The graciousness of his thought
Our eyes have never met
But you filled me as a person
Faithfully molded from
A bit of dirt and a trickle of water
A human being I became
And your love sustained me as my
Spirit sojourns through transcendence
As I walk to newness on the right path
