Spring

Spring

Forest deep gave a peep

Of jaunting forms that wept

A Seedling leaped triumphantly

Speaking of spring blossoms

“Let us form a band”

And sing a colorful song

With a chorus of

Yellow Marigold, Blue Tulip and White Rose

Beautiful Birds chirped,

                        Chanting reverently

Excitingly fluttering wings of grace

In the blue skies above

Butterflies colored my vision with peace

Tiny Centipedes legs in unison

Crawled upon and under boulders of dust

Exotic, chaotic little Bumblebee

Plump with nectar,

                        Honey to be

Translucent wings carried thee

Across the valley to the Sea

There she blows!

The Blue Whale sails

Into a sanctuary cove

There to breed

Basking in complete serenity

A wonderful sight to see

This Spring
