    Fake

    Live for 'accepted' feelings
    That pulse through my veins
    That pour into me:
    Heartfelt words strewn across

    Minds, one by one,
    Cross this embrace,
    Through my dignity,
Stepping on it with boots caked with grime.

    Laughs enter but flit away
    Smiles do not linger
    As I push past those
    Into rawer recesses

    Inside that is not really felt;
    Rather, just display
    Brought on by hands molding,
    Hands changing, contorting figures

    In this foreign mindset,
    I feel alone
    Small, unimportant
Not coveringup my feelings as well

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
