    Music's Hold

    I hear the sound
         It is pouring through my ears
               It is clutching on to me
                   Refusing to let go
    I hear the beat
         Rising my apprehension
               Willing myself to see
                    That I am obliged to flee
    I hear the words
          Spoken through lips that are not mine
               But can I still abtain them?
                   Even with my weaknesses?
    Then, nothing.
          It's over?
               But...I had relied on it;
                   I had never expected it to be finished...
                                         I thought it would last forever.

    YES!!! I agree!!!

    Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.
