Poem Commentary

I guess this is just my way of finding beauty in unexpected places.

Final Cut

Shining, like a star in the darkness,
Smooth as silk across the palest of skin.
The fine edge of pain defying dulled senses.
The body's punishment for emotion's sin.

Crimson beauty sprawled over white.
Satisfying, she is, as no other could be,
A paradox of painful pleasure divine.
The trusted constant, flowing ever slowly.
