    Fragility

    It's true I am strong
    So Proud and so toned
    Center of the cliques
    I'm never alone

    Image of strength
    Humor and poise
    Desire of girls
    Envy of boys

    Laugh at my jokes
    Funny they're not
    Follow me round'
    Like mindless robots

    But deep in my soul
    There's fear and concern
    That true friends and depth
    Are things I've not earned.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
