Fresh sheets

Seductive ink flows
over silken sheets
shifting as you move over them
smudging their appearance
spoiling crisp clean surface
Blots of fluidity
proof of one living
DNA recorded for a time
excited the quill quickens
rushes over
as the mind wills ever onwards
determined to finish
Then a sigh and peace
as dreams float on new linen

A love letter, perhaps? The mystery adds to the poem's allure. Harv

It could be anything the reader cares to imagine, but yes there are hints to a double meaning romance or more side to the write, so thankyou for noticing... Really appreciate the feedback... Anna-Marie.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
