How fast can I run?
Do you know how fast I can run?
I can run very fast.
Especially when I’m scared.
Or when I don’t want someone to know something.
I can run for miles
Just to escape
I can cover up all my tracks
Like I was never there.
Like a deer
The slightest movement will set me off.
I need to learn not to run and Hide.
Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
