  • is you'll never really see, you'll never really know, not when it comes to me...You'll never even realize these poems are just pieces of my heart when it fell apart

Lesson Taught well (Thank you)

No I’m not angry

That will never be a word to express how I feel

You were there in the way

That I see now I needed

Never apologize

Don’t even think to

I’m stronger than I ever thought I’d be

Because of you

I stand on my own two feet

Don’t worry about me

I can walk this world alone

Knowing how to survive

To endure

Is a lesson I was taught well

I’ll keep going, I’ll keep living

Even if I break

I can pick up my own pieces

I thank you for all you’ve done

For not being there for me

When I thought I needed someone to be

To save myself

Is a lesson you taught me well

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
