    The louder Silence

    Silence speaks louder than words

    That’s why I am breaking inside

    For every word I never said

    For every letter that you never read

    It echoes…through my mind

    They echo…through my mind

    One tear-jerker after another

    Time and time again

    Silence speaks louder than words

    Because it’s the silence that I hear with every closed door

    With every goodbye ending that phone call

    Or watching as they walk away

    Its then, in that silence, that everything I should’ve said

    Everything I now want to say

    Goes through my mind

    And I regret

    As it echoes…

    In that silence.

    I have read a couple of your poems tonight, dark as they may be. They certainly show the feeling that I can honestly say had plagued my life at one point. I really enjoyed the read. Thanks for sharing. A big 10 from me.

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
