    Poem Commentary

    I threw this one together this morning... And I don't know why I wrote something of sadness, when I'm in such a decent mood. Yes, there's some truth to it. We all have regrets, we all wish we would of handled some situations a little differently. However, we must live on and learn from our mistakes.

    I Remember

    I remember... the things I should forget
    There's nothing I can do... to take back those regrets
    I relive them... though it's not of my own will
    There's nothing to be done... those thoughts are with me still 

    Living backwards... with thoughts of yesterday
    There's nothing I can do... to make them go away
    I still see them... the poor choices of the past
    There's nothing to be done... the years go by so fast

    Decisions... we make them day and night 
    There's nothing I can do... but try to make them right
    I still think of... what I would do right now
    But nothing's to be done... I can't go back then some how

    I remember... this broken heart of mine
    There's nothing I can do... I see it all the time
    I relive it... the love I had for her
    But nothing's to be done... nothing is forever

    Beautiful beautiful beautiful!!!!! How does this poem not have any other reviews??? Such a melancholy truth shared. Gave me goosebumps. Your words are like a script read from my heart, that I have been unable to express. Just Beautiful! Added to my favs.
