    I swear

      If I came
    to you this day
    would you still turn
    and walk away
    from loves true riches
    seen and felt
    the leaves are falling
    summers melt

    Or would you smile
    and kiss my lips
    to show the place
    where love may twitch
    then take me as
    I stand and stare
    to love you more
    on this I swear.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
