    i wish i was
    there are days I wish to be
    a gun-wielding vigilante
    someone who takes the bad guys down
    when justice is no where to be found
    to defend the innocent from evil hands
    those perverted souls that roam our lands
    to be the one who snuffs them out
    who shreds them up as they shout
    I want to look them in the eye
    and hear that last breath's sigh
    I want my anger to speak for me
    to tell them these acts should not be
    I want to scratch them from the inside out
    show them what justice is all about
    I want to hold the bloody blade
    making sure my point was made
    but all this is pure horrific fantasy
    as this violent avenger is not me
    there are times I wish this fantasy was true
    then reality comes back as if on cue
    I would never do these bloody deeds
    unless of course I could hide a body in the weeds

    This is great! Kind of dark, but I love that you want to kick the bad guy's butt. Don't we all, yet you put it in a writing. Unusual. You're unique, that's for sure.

    Ha!! Cracks me up! Unless of course... Ha!! I like the way you wrapped this piece up. It's not as dark as one might think from the label you put on it. I'm sure most of us have wished this at one time or another. I remember wishing I could fly! :)
