I'm Not Laughing
I'm not depressed or feeling blue.Truth be told...I'm pissed at you.
My anger could not be more true.
It blinds me from what I know I should do.
I thought that you meant all that you said.
You must admit that you lied instead.
You knew just what I needed fed;
relentless til you filled my head.
I fell in love with you no doubt.
"Stay away!" my heart did shout.
I should have known what you're about.
Instead I should have blocked you out.
Now once again I sit alone.
Your actions I cannot condone.
You refuse to call this place our home.
All you want to do is roam.
Each day you find a way to use.
I fight the urge but always lose.
I loved you. Now I pay the dues.
It does not seem to affect you.
You claim you want to be with me.
When times are tough you always flee.
But you are there when things are free.
Then you leave me here, lonely.
Just when I say I need you most,
abandonement becomes my host.
No longer having the right to boast,
to you I'm nothing but a joke.
