Killing What's Inside
A broken heart still beating,Scarred wrists still bleeding.
Blood-shot eyes still crying,
the girl inside is dying.
She watches as her heart bursts;
she breaks the skin although it hurts.
She wipes her tears, knowing they will never dry.
The girl inside wishes she would die.
Finally, the beating stops;
Finally, the sharp blade drops.
Finally, the tears are done.
The girl on the outside has finally won.
