Loving God

Loving God

All of my life I've wandered
never standing still
I've searched this earth over
Looking for my fill
Finally I sat down
and looked around my being
finally I understood
what I had been seeing
In just a moments time
I understood it all
Believe in him now
or not hear him when he calls
So, today and evermore my friend
I  am his servant standing tall
I will not stumble
I will not fall
I am forever loving God
I will be faithful and strong
And I know he'll lighten the burdens
I've carried for so long
Today and forever
I am his new born friend
Never denying him
Loving him till the end

...and if we do deny HIm, He is faithful for He will not deny Himself. Excellent read and full of encourgement!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
