    Poem Commentary

Haha. I'm not sure where this came from in my mind, but I decided to keep it. Hope you like it. :]

    Mine

    Well it's not Valentine's Day
    Yes, I'm aware
But you look mighty good today
    I like your red hair
The sun don't stop the rain
And the rain don't stop the shine
    It's either now or forever
    So, will you be mine?

    We'll walk beneath a rainbow
    Colorful like carebears
    Hold hands in cold weather
Then ride rides at the fair
    Lets dance like its 1920
    Live in that stolen time
God wrote it out for me
    That you would be mine

I said I'd give you skittles
    Or even a hug
You said you want the red ones
    And that was enough
    Here we are kissing
    It happens in time
    Ten years later and counting
    You'll always be mine
