    mother's day

    Mom

    The job so coveted

The gift so many wish to have

The special few are granted such

    Momma

The job only some can take

The commitment not easy to fulfill

The special few are granted such

    Mommy

The person with all the magic

The healer of scrapes and broken hearts

The special few are granted such

    Mother

    The one I depend on

The one God sent me to

The specially blessed are granted such

Kid you made a six foot 210 lb man cry. This was beautiful. Cherish your mother. I recently lost mine so take it from me, cherrish yours.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
