    This Dying Earth

Are we alert to this dying earth,

    Responsible for the ultimate dearth.

Factories pollute no concern for the deed,

To fulfil the shareholders growing greed.

Exhaust gasses pour out in the air,

But really does anyone really care.

    Pollution the norm every morning,

Leaving us with the global warming.

Into the air pollutants do daily pour,

Depleting the ozone, you know the score.

Will our children ever grow old

Heed the warning now you are told.

catchy title (have to think about this a bit :D) but it would be a great contribution in the collection. "Are we alert to this dying earth?" can't think of a better way to begin. geat piece GG.

I strongly believe in conservation of our beatiful world, and this comes from me genuine belief that we may be doing too little too late

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
