    Poem Commentary

    The beginning

In the beginning there was a barren rock,

God decided to give it a living forna frock.

Six days of creation and then took a rest,

Out of creation this work is by far his best.

Caretakers so in the beauty they can bask,

He created mankind to do the job, this task.

In his image both male and female they be,

In body, mind and spirit and human trilogy.

The day came and went when they fell into sin,

Long is his patience before the pit they fall in.

His son he did send to save them from loss,

By their hands they did sacrifice on the cross.

Love, grace and compassion for them all,

His promise is that his love will never stall.

Angels nor demons from him will they not part,

For He does love them with all of his heart.

To be caretakers they have ceased, to his dismay,

The earth is to be cleansed, this is without delay.

The day must come when only those of his son,

To be saved for a new earth just as it was begun.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
