Poem Commentary

A true  story. I was really dead comlete with flatline experience

heaven and back

I once was dead, killed in my car,

My deciding moment, again by far,

Went to heaven. went into the light,

Judged for my life, that I lived by might.

Looked into the pit, as Satan cursed so bold,

He is mine! said Jesus, so you have no hold,

My life before me, with all my pain,

Forgive said Jesus, or there is no gain.

You must go back, for it is not yet time

once baptised, still forever mine,

go and live out the rest of your life

care for your sons, and your devoted wife

when there is some kind of hurt,

Forgive instead of being curt,

Hand to the Father all your pain,

Peace of mind will be your gain.

A true story but many insisted I was just dreaming, yet a nurse wanted me to put an official complaint as to the doctor changing his records. which if left unaltered would have recorded me dead for 7 minutes

Gods, Very humble and truly poignant take of what one learns about life when close to death. A remarkable poem to lift one's spirits. Ginga

I actually was dead. complete with flatline as was being wrapped for the morgue when I opened my eyes.It scared the nurses a lot.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
