    God of Comfort

Praise be to God and Father of all,

That comforts us so, when we fall,

To share our love with all that are in need,

To comfort others, is a blessing indeed.

I once felt dead and nowhere to flee.

Your love set claim and set me free.

My only hope is in you Lord, and your Son,

You deliver me from harm that would be done.

Oh God whose word lasts forever,

And whose promises are broken never.

His anointing, is our strength and seal,

His Spirit in our hearts, is our zeal.

Gods, This is so pure and invokes a sincere and loving message like a prayer. I love the serenity I felt after reading it. ginga

This is so beautiful. I always admire people who love God enough to write about Him. He is our Guiding Light.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
