    peppered love feast

    Eye's beginning to bulge
    she turns ,

    'I've already told you',
    her crammed mouth,

    spitting out specks of self-adulation
    'I adore my food'

    Nutritious stages of decay
lay the table for her next meal

    Feistily she swallows ,
as I prepare her second dish

'Miracles are just a combination of predetermined coincidences ?', I suggest.
At this stage she is grunting
    which determines my choice .

    What  a coincidence
    that her violent allergic reaction
    should start then.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
