    Don’t think
    I’ll ever see

    Another girl
    lovely as she

    corn rowed hair
    dark brown eyes

    Tall in statue

    Slender in size

    Her silky skin

    mocha brown

    not a wrinkle

    To be found

     smile unveiled

    Pearl white teeth

    Flushed full lips

    Dimpled beneath

    Had gracefulness

    how she moved

    self assurance

    She did exude

    Closer we neared

    slower her pace

    Perhaps noticed

    Look on my face

    Gaped in awe

    Was taken aback

    I blinked at her

    She blinked back

    Lowered my glance

    before passing by

    Caught off guard

    when she said hi.

    Other than nod

    mind went numb

    Wanted to say

    something dumb

    Went along my way

    she did the same

    Would give anything

    To know her name

    I’ll remember her

    Simply as she

    The loveliest girl

    I ever did see
