    SWEET-EST-HEART

    SWEET - EST – HEART

If I could write beauty of your eyes

In fresh number of numbers of all your grace

Painting my ages with beauty of the days

As the waves purify the pebbled shore

What else am I to say other than saying

I have been caught in your net –the net of romance

Your beauty is so radiant and captivating

The smiling face so caressing, so lovely

The simple dressing to match and to kill

    Coupled with admirable natural smartness

These are things of joy and gladness needed

All these are enough for sweet dreams

You have been the causes of my restlessness.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
