THE MISTRABLE MISTER BAT
THE MISTRABLE MISTER BAT
What kind of animal are you?
Birds or mouse! Rat or birds!
Are you born or made
The usual bird that work through the night
Animal that turns day to night and the night to day
All things opposite- just opposite side
Neither mouse nor birds
A rat that flies easily-A bird that has many furs
Sometimes in history
An apple of discord you played between two schools of thought
As some saw your body with fur Insisted that you are a rat
The other your wing they saw then proclaimed you are nothing but a bird
A trivial altercation, lead to a real conflict
Until the custodian brought it out and pronounced that you are a bat
That two of them are right and wrong
You are neither a bird nor a rat
Yet you are a rat and a bird though blind but seeing
A magician that turned a cup of water upside down
Without a drop out of it! You made easy the impossible
What on the ground you are looking
With two wing tight to the stems that you hanged head down
Bat come and tell my people- that is doubting my stories
Tell them I am right-that you eat on both fruits and insect.
