    LOVELORN FEELINGS

    LOVELORN FEELINGS

I am forlornly in love and affection

Face to face my very essence she mystifies

Her soul and heart cocooned in steal

Yet lavish with soothing love and care when apart

Never sick to know if I know

What it make of my beloved, yeah of all these?

Or how to disentangle my soul from hers

Only tell me how to breach her armour

Yes, tell me how to provoke unfettered love

Free as air and day predominating

Show me how to conquer barriers to pure love

Oh! Show me how to become one with my beloved

And so our two souls fuse in eternal love and bless

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
